According to Thailand’s Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, 63,340 new businesses were registered in 2020.The bureau anticipates that in 2021, 64,000 – 66,000 new businesses would be registered.

According to Ministry of Commerce, electronic commerce registration has continued to grow at an average rate of 2% annually with cumulative total number of online stores registered reaching 58,423 in 2020. In 2020 alone, 12,883 e-commerce businesses were registered, with more expected to be registered this year.
