The event saw participation from over 100 students and individuals.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:278\"><strong>Ms. Puttawan Suphataranant, Corporate Communications Director of Sea (Thailand)<\/strong>, stated that Sea (Thailand) recognizes the economic fluctuations and the necessity for young people to learn about finance early on. This will equip them with resilience to cope with future changes.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:232\">The &#8220;Wishlist&#8221; financial board game is a crucial tool in instilling financial knowledge and skills in youth. It simulates various financial situations such as income and expense management, savings, investments, and debt management.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:232\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2321\" src=\"https:\/\/thereporter.asia\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/sea-wishlist-thailand-tournament-2024-TheReporterAsia-1.jpg\" alt=\"Financial Board Game\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thereporter.asia\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/sea-wishlist-thailand-tournament-2024-TheReporterAsia-1.jpg 600w, https:\/\/thereporter.asia\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/sea-wishlist-thailand-tournament-2024-TheReporterAsia-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:159\">Sea (Thailand) has collaborated with partners from various sectors to develop this board game and has distributed over 500 sets to schools and learning centers nationwide. Moreover, the board game is available in an online version, which has been downloaded over 1,100 times.<\/p>\n<h3 data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:28\"><strong>Challenges and Solutions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"17:1-17:329\">Ms. Puttawan mentioned the challenges in developing the financial board game. Designing a board game that is both fun and easy to understand while seamlessly integrating financial knowledge is not straightforward. Additionally, the lack of personnel with expertise in both board games and finance is another significant obstacle.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"19:1-19:237\">To address these challenges, Sea (Thailand) partnered with the Institute of Board Game for Learning to design and develop the board game.
