The Police Wives Association has teamed up with EmQuartier shopping mall to host the “Side by Side Fair to Shop, Taste and Share”. The exhibition is showcasing local products from across the country created by police families connecting with local communities. The objective is to boost local economies, preserve local culture and promote sustainable jobs for police families. The event is scheduled for 20-24 March 2024 at Quartier Avenue Level G, EmQuartier Department Store.

Mrs. Nipapan Sukvimol, Police Wives Association stated, “Police Wives” strategic plan for 2024 has three major aspects, which are improving family life for the police, with both human and social development. Our ‘Side by Side Fair to Shop, Taste and Share’is an outgrowth of the successful One Province One Product (OPOP) program, ongoing since 2022. This is part of a strategic plan to improve quality of life for police and their families, with a focus on promoting products and finding new marketing channels to provide sustainable incomes for police families. The program also reflects the commitment of the Police Wives Association to improve incomes for families creatively. Previous operations have now resulted in over 300 products being developed by police and their families.

“Especially for our ‘Side by Side Fair to Shop, Taste and Share’, Police Wives Association has brought together local products which have been especially curated and developed by the association from local communities nationwide. These highlight the distinctive identity of each region and showcase the collaborative spirit of the Association to promote community products and support products made by police families in supplementary occupations. This is aligned with the Association’s vision to be a center of better life quality for police and their families.”

“Side by Side Fair to Shop, Taste and Share” is enjoying the generosity of many sponsors including The EmQuartier Department Store, The Thai Dairy Industry Co., Ltd. (producers of Mali brand milk), MK Restaurant Group PCL, Thai Union Group PCL and LIGHTSOURCE Co., Ltd.
