Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) presented its innovative, high-quality food products, produced through safe processes that prioritize environmental and social responsibility, at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024. The company’s mission of ensuring food security and sustainable consumption was highlighted under the theme “Kitchen of the world with Sustainovation.”

This year, CPF’s food products received numerous innovation awards. Notably, “CP Chicken Pocket Sausage & Cheese” won the THAIFEX – Anuga Taste Innovation Show 2024 award. Additionally, COOKING HELPER by CP products,including Sam Kler seasoning sauce, Suki Shabu dipping sauce, Jaew dipping sauce, Seafood dipping sauce, and Pandan Custard, received the Thai SELECT seal, a guarantee of authentic Thai taste from the Ministry of Commerce.Furthermore, “Cage Free” eggs under the U FARM brand were selected as a recommended product for reducing global warming and earned the “Carbon Neutral Product” label, the first carbon-neutral egg in Asia.
Mr. Ekpiya Uawithya, Managing Director of CPF Food Network Co., Ltd., emphasized the company’s commitment to utilizing innovation and technology to meet consumer and societal needs. CPF is dedicated to building food security,promoting sustainable production and consumption, and enhancing production processes for safe, high-quality food while demonstrating social and environmental responsibility.
“The concept ‘Kitchen of the world with Sustainovation’ reflects CPF’s core mission in developing new food products that satisfy consumers worldwide in terms of both taste and nutrition,” said Ekpiya. “Our production processes employ innovation and technology, following smart agriculture and factory development guidelines to improve efficiency and resource management. We also focus on increasing the use of renewable energy, sourcing raw materials responsibly without deforestation, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”
At the event, the company showcased a diverse range of products across six zones:
- Space Safety Standard: The highest safety standard for fresh chicken meat under the CP brand.
- Superior Taste Awards 2024 & Other World Standards: Products meeting international standards and recognized for their world-class taste.
- Innovative Products: Benja Chicken and Chiva Pork under the U Farm brand, and plant-based meat under the Meat Zero brand.
- Net-Zero: Green products.
- Export: Led by the Authentic Asia brand, featuring Asian food with international standards, including Thai Cube under the Kitchen Joy brand, successful in Scandinavia, and shrimp wontons adapted to local consumer preferences, such as Emperor Shrimp Wonton in Mala Soup.
- Import: HARVEY BEEF and CP Uoriki products.
This year’s highlight was the ‘CP Chicken Pocket Sausage & Cheese,’ which won an innovation award at THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2024. This new sandwich caters to health-conscious consumers seeking low-carb, high-protein options by replacing bread with chicken breast, cheese, and sausage. It guarantees safety with the Space Safety Standard, based on NASA’s food safety guidelines, and is halal certified.
The COOKING HELPER by CP product line received the Thai SELECT seal, awarded by the Ministry of Commerce to ready-to-eat Thai food products that use over 80% local ingredients and adhere to international production and cooking standards.
Another achievement for the company is the ‘Cage Free’ eggs under the U FARM brand, the first in Asia to be recognized as a “food that helps reduce global warming” and certified as a “Carbon Neutral Product” by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). The eggs come in 100% recycled paper packaging.
