Etix Everywhere, a global leader in data center solutions, today announced its commitment to sustainability by installing solar panels on the rooftop of its ETIX Bangkok #1 data center in Bang Na, Bangkok. This project marks a significant step towards reducing carbon dioxide emissions and promoting the use of renewable energy in Thailand’s data center industry.
With over 6,000 square meters of solar panels installed on the rooftop of ETIX Bangkok #1, the company can generate up to 11% of the total energy consumption of the data center. This translates to a reduction of 480 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, which is equivalent to planting 23,000 trees.

Targeting 100% Renewable Energy by 2025
The company has also set an ambitious target of using 100% renewable energy at ETIX Bangkok #1 by 2025. To achieve this goal, Etix Everywhere plans to increase the solar power generation capacity to 20% by 2027 and explore other renewable energy sources such as hydropower.

In addition, we prioritize efficient water usage in our cooling systems to address water scarcity concerns.”
