KFC Thailand continues its commitment to education through the “KFC Bucket Search” program, partnering with the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and Panyakalpa School to address the issue of over 1 million out-of-school children in Thailand.

The KFC Bucket Search program introduces a unique “Vocational Skills and Entrepreneurship” curriculum, focusing on hands-on learning experiences combined with work opportunities. This approach aims to equip young people with essential skills for both employment and entrepreneurship in today’s world.

The program offers a distinctive learning experience, allowing participants to learn through real-world work experiences at KFC, both in service and kitchen operations. Additionally, they receive comprehensive training in entrepreneurship, covering various aspects of running a business.

Mr. Sakechai Choomuenwai, Managing Director of Yum Restaurants International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Chairman of the KFC Foundation, stated, “KFC is the first private sector brand to pilot flexible education with a child-centric curriculum development approach, allowing children to choose their learning path based on their interests and aptitudes.”
