A Collaborative Effort for Water Sustainability
The Mizuiku Water Hero Camp is a testament to the commitment of both Suntory affiliates in Thailand to water conservation. The initiative is a collaborative effort involving the Department of Water Resources, Pollution Control Department, Department of Climate Change and Environment, Rayong and Chonburi Provincial Education Offices, and the Environmental Education Centre (EEC). Together, they aim to instill a deep understanding of water-related challenges and foster a sense of responsibility among the youth.
Empowering Future Generations
The “One Suntory Mizuiku Program” focuses on educating young people about the importance of water and the environment. The program includes the “Mizuiku Water Hero Camp,” where students participate in hands-on activities and learn about water conservation in a fun and interactive way. The program also supports schools in implementing water conservation projects through the “Mizuiku Water Model School 2024” Contest.
Learning from Nature’s Classroom
The Mizuiku Water Hero Camp provides a unique opportunity for students and teachers to engage with nature and learn about the water cycle, local water challenges, and sustainable solutions. Participants visit sites like the Rayong Botanic Garden, Thung Prong Thong, the Museum of Natural History, Marine Plants and Animals, and Laem Son Beach, gaining firsthand experience and knowledge from environmental experts.
