AIS Partners with Government to Tidy Up Telecommunication Cables on Sutthisarn Road

AIS, Thailand’s leading telecommunications provider, has joined forces with the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Metropolitan Electricity Authority,Royal Thai Police, and other partners to tackle the issue of tangled telecommunication cables in Bangkok. The latest successful effort focused on improving the landscape and safety of Sutthisarn Winichai Road.

This collaboration marks a significant step in addressing the long-standing problem of messy cables that have impacted the city’s aesthetics and public safety. AIS deployed a team of skilled engineers to systematically organize the cables along Sutthisarn Winichai Road. This included removing unused cables, neatly arranging active ones, and relocating some underground, resulting in a safer and more visually appealing streetscape.
