AIS Unites to Alleviate Flood Crisis, Donates 2 Million Baht

Bangkok, Thailand – AIS, Thailand’s leading digital infrastructure provider, led by CEO Mr. Somchai Lertsutiwong, has announced a donation of 2 million baht and essential communication systems to the government to aid flood victims in the northern and northeastern regions.

This support is part of the “United Strength, United Hearts” project held at Government House, where Prime Minister Ms.Paetongtarn Shinawatra received the donation.

Flood Situation Remains Critical, AIS Continues to Provide Aid

The flood situation in many areas, especially in the north and northeast, remains critical. Water levels in several major rivers continue to rise, causing flooding in many communities. Although some areas have started to see receding water levels, the focus remains on urgently restoring damaged homes.

AIS has been continuously assisting flood victims, particularly by ensuring the mobile and home internet network remains operational. They have also extended communication services to facilitate both the public and relevant officials.

AIS’s “Aunjai Arsa” volunteer teams across the country have been actively assisting flood victims, connecting, restoring,and providing essential supplies such as drinking water and survival kits.
