Bangkok, February 10, 2025 – True Corporation Public Company Limited (True Corp), reaffirming its position as Thailand’s technology and telecommunications leader, has announced a major collaboration with GalaxySpace, a leading Chinese company specializing in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite internet services. This partnership will focus on jointly studying, researching, and developing space technology in Thailand. The primary goal is to upgrade the country’s digital telecommunications infrastructure, create new opportunities for businesses, and drive the sustainable growth of Thailand’s digital economy.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between the two leading companies was represented by Mr. Manat Manavutiveth, Chief Executive Officer of True Corporation Plc., and Mr. Xu Ming, Founder, Chairman and CEO of GalaxySpace. Both parties will collaborate on studying, exchanging knowledge, and developing communication technologies in various areas, including:
- Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Satellite Broadband Internet Technology: This will enhance the efficiency and coverage of internet services, particularly in remote areas or regions where terrestrial networks are difficult to access.
- Integration of Space-Based Communication Technology with Terrestrial Networks: To create a seamless and highly stable communication network.
