ONYX Hospitality Group has partnered with AIS Business to deploy AIS Cloud powered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, establishing an intelligent digital foundation to scale operations from over 45 properties to more than 70 properties across the Asia-Pacific region by 2030.
Cloud-Powered Regional Expansion and Data Integration
ONYX Hospitality Group, which manages brands including Amari, OZO, Shama, and Oriental Residence, is utilizing AIS Cloud to connect its headquarters with properties across Asia-Pacific. As Thailand’s first Thai-owned and operated hyperscale cloud service, the platform allows the group to run mission-critical workloads while maintaining domestic data control and governance, supported by managed services and local Thai-language support from AIS Business.
The deployment supports enterprise resource planning (ERP), data analytics, and operational systems capable of processing high volumes of data. It also provides the technical foundation for future integration of automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and other intelligent systems across regional operations.
According to Mr. Phupa Akavipat, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS), cloud infrastructure plays a strategic role in business agility and value creation. He noted that the collaboration with ONYX demonstrates how hyperscale cloud serves as a key foundation for hospitality business transformation, enabling organizations to scale capabilities and support growth across multiple markets.

Centralized Data Platform and Market Competitiveness
The initiative aligns with expanding tourism across the region, where the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) recorded an 8.1% GDP contribution growth for Asia-Pacific travel and tourism in 2025, reaching USD 3.29 trillion. To capture regional market demand, ONYX is building a centralized enterprise Data Platform that consolidates guest booking and operational information into a cloud-based Data Warehouse.
This platform integrates with the group’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to generate deeper customer insights, enabling the development of targeted services, marketing campaigns, and personalized guest experiences.
Mr. Phiphat Khanonwet, Head of Information Technology at ONYX Hospitality Group, stated that achieving the company’s ambition to be the best medium-sized hospitality management company in Asia-Pacific requires a strong technology foundation. He emphasized that technology serves as a critical enabler in elevating guest experiences and empowering staff to deliver effective services, supporting scalable and sustainable business growth.
