This 5-seater, 5-door C-SUV offers superior performance and premium comfort with cutting-edge technology. Notably, it’s the first plug-in hybrid model from BYD to be manufactured at the BYD Thailand plant in Rayong.

The SEALION 6 DM-i Super Hybrid features BYD’s advanced DM-i technology, seamlessly blending the strengths of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). It primarily uses electric power for propulsion but retains a high-efficiency gasoline engine as a supplementary power source for the electric motor, ensuring peace of mind for both daily commutes and long journeys.
Mr. Benson Ke, General Manager of BYD Thailand Co., Ltd., highlighted Thailand’s robust automotive industry and infrastructure, evidenced by the nearly 40-fold increase in EV sales in 2023. He emphasized BYD’s commitment to stimulating economic growth, creating jobs, and fostering long-term knowledge transfer in Thailand.

The SEALION 6 DM-i delivers a quiet and smooth driving experience akin to a 100% electric vehicle. The DM-i technology enables regenerative braking, extending the electric driving range. It boasts quick acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and features an EHS electric hybrid system for seamless responsiveness.
The intelligent DM-i system optimizes driving modes based on speed and conditions, ensuring smooth acceleration,confident overtaking, and maximum energy efficiency. The SEALION 6 DM-i also excels in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) reduction, offering a serene cabin experience.

The BYD SEALION 6 DM-i Super Hybrid is available for reservation at BYD showrooms and service centers nationwide, starting at ฿939,900 for the Dynamic model. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in October 2024.
Customers who book the SEALION 6 DM-i between August 8 and October 31, 2024, will receive the RÊVER CARE package, including Ceramic XUV MAX window film, registration fees, first-class insurance, a portable AC charger, a V2L adapter, and comprehensive warranties.
