GenAI Investment Soars: NTT DATA Report Reveals Global Trend

Bangkok, Thailand  – NTT DATA, a global leader in IT services and digital business, today announced the release of its “Global GenAI Report: How organizations are mastering their GenAI destiny in 2025.” The study, which surveyed over 2,300 business leaders across 34 countries, reveals that organizations worldwide are moving beyond the experimental phase of generative AI (GenAI) and making significant investments to drive long-term business performance.

The report found that almost all organizations surveyed have already invested in GenAI, with 83% (and a striking 94% in Asia Pacific) having established expert or robust GenAI teams. This highlights a clear commitment to integrating GenAI into their operations.

“The future is clear: Generative AI is not just a tool, it’s a transformational force,” said Yutaka Sasaki, President and CEO of NTT DATA Group. “As we move beyond experimentation, the tension emerges: move too fast and we risk unintended consequences; move too slow and we fall behind. Getting GenAI right is not optional. That’s why we offer a blueprint to help our clients seize the power of GenAI for sustainable success.”
