Bangkok, Thailand – AIS, Thailand’s leading telecommunications provider, has announced a partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery to offer the Max streaming platform to customers in Thailand, starting on 19 November 2024.

This collaboration strengthens AIS’s position as the leading OTT HUB and entertainment content center in Thailand. The addition of Max adds another platform offering movies, series, reality shows, and family programs from world-renowned brands such as HBO, the DC Universe, Harry Potter, Max Originals, Cartoon Network, and Discovery.
AIS customers with HBO GO packages will be automatically upgraded to the Max Standard package. They can enjoy content on various devices, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and TVs. Customers can simultaneously stream content on up to two devices and download up to 30 titles for offline viewing.
The Max Standard package will provide an enhanced user experience compared to HBO GO, with a user-friendly interface, personalized recommendations, an accurate search system, and content categorization by brand.
AIS customers with PLAY PREMIUM PLUS or PLAY XL packages will continue to have access to five premium HBO channels: HBO, HBO Signature, HBO HITS, HBO Family, and Cinemax via AIS PLAY, AIS PLAYBOX, and 3BB GIGATV.

The launch of Max in Thailand marks the expansion of Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming business in Southeast Asia. Max plans to offer a variety of exciting new content, including Dune: Prophecy, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, the Harry Potter series, the new season of House of the Dragon, The White Lotus, and The Last of Us.
Interested AIS customers can subscribe to the annual HBO GO package at a special price of 1,190 baht until 18 November 2024. After that, the HBO GO package will be automatically converted to the Max Standard package.
