True Corporation has joined forces with the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, Thammasat University Hospital, and EGG Digital to establish a strategic partnership aimed at advancing Thailand’s medical artificial intelligence ecosystem. Under a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the four entities are founding the “Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub” to serve as a national platform for medical AI collaboration. The initiative combines digital infrastructure, health data, and analytical expertise to refine patient care, streamline administrative operations, and upskill the medical workforce across Thailand.
To support the transition toward an AI-driven healthcare model, the partnership establishes custom training curricula co-developed with True Digital Academy to build digital competencies among medical students, faculty members, and hospital personnel. This collaboration focuses on integrating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, launching specialized research programs, and introducing a new graduate degree in Medical Digital Technology set to begin in the 2027 academic year.
Six Key Pillars of Intelligent Healthcare Transformation
The strategic framework is structured around six core operational pillars designed to integrate digital health solutions safely into clinical practice. These pillars encompass AI and digital skill development for existing staff, foundational EMR training for undergraduate medical students, joint medical AI research, the operation of the physical Innovation Hub, new academic degree programs, and the ethical translation of research into real-world clinical pilots.

“True Corporation is driving our Big Move strategy to become an AI-First Company, advancing our vision of ‘AI for All Thais’ by leveraging technology to deliver maximum value to the country,” said Ms. Sarinra Wongsuppaluk, Chief Human Resources Officer at True Corporation Plc.
“We believe that the transformation toward Healthcare AI must begin with human capability, and that AI delivers true value only when combined with medical expertise. Through this partnership, True brings its digital infrastructure, intelligent networks, and ethical AI solutions to integrate seamlessly with the public health system.”
“Leveraging True Digital Academy’s expertise, we co-create practical learning programs to build an AI-ready workforce across students, faculty, and medical staff. Most importantly, establishment of the ‘Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub’ will bridge academic research with real-world healthcare use cases, transforming research into scalable clinical practice to foster a robust medical AI ecosystem and sustainably elevate Thailand’s healthcare infrastructure.”
In addition to workforce preparation, the collaboration emphasizes advanced clinical intelligence models. By pairing hospital EMR data with EGG Digital’s analytics capabilities, the entities plan to develop Health Score models and diagnostic AI systems to assist physicians in screening, risk assessment, and decision support.

Smart Hospital and Smart Campus Development
The implementation extends into operational hospital environments and academic research facilities to refine daily clinical workflows. Thammasat University Hospital aims to utilize these tools to optimize patient management, leverage real-time analytics, and modernize administrative infrastructure while adhering to established legal and safety guidelines.
“AI and digital technologies are rapidly transforming the medical landscape, covering education and research to diagnosis, treatment, and health system administration,” stated Associate Professor Auchara Tangsathapornpong, MD, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University.
“As a leading medical institution, the Faculty of Medicine prioritizes building AI and Digital Health competencies among our students, faculty, and personnel so they can apply these tools effectively while generating knowledge that meets national healthcare needs, anchored firmly in safety, critical thinking, and medical ethics. We are confident that this collaboration will serve as a benchmark for integrating medical expertise with digital and AI capabilities, cultivating a future-ready medical workforce, and delivering high-quality research and innovations tailored to better serve the Thai population.”
Associate Professor Dilok Piyayotai, MD, Director of Thammasat University Hospital, added, “Thammasat University Hospital is committed to delivering patient-centric care by leveraging digital technology, AI, and health data to support treatments and optimize hospital administration to elevate service quality.
“Achieving this requires empowering our physicians and staff to understand, navigate, and apply these technologies efficiently. This partnership strengthens our technological capabilities, digital skill sets, and data-driven solutions. By unifying personnel, data, technology, research, and clinical services through the Thammasat–True AI Health Innovation Hub, we create a vital engine that will drive Thammasat Hospital’s Healthcare AI to the next level, delivering modern, high-quality healthcare for the utmost benefit of patients and the national public health system.”
From a technical and data analytics perspective, the partnership utilizes advanced modeling to strengthen research accuracy and optimize hospital resources through real-time dashboards.
“As AI and data become increasingly central to the future of healthcare, the next generation of healthcare systems will no longer be driven solely by medical technologies, but by the ability to connect, analyze, and transform data into actionable insights,”
explained Ms. Tippawan Vongthammachart, General Manager – Business Analytics AI & Consultation at EGG Digital Co., Ltd. “At EGG Digital, we are bringing our expertise in Data Analytics and advanced AI technologies together with the strong medical and academic foundation of the Faculty of Medicine, Thammasat University, and Thammasat University Hospital to advance AI-driven healthcare through two key initiatives.
The first is advancing Smart Hospital capabilities through innovative solutions such as the Health Score, which analyzes holistic health data to enable both physicians and patients to monitor health conditions, plan personalized care, and support preventive healthcare with greater accuracy. This is complemented by the development of an intelligent Health Dashboard, providing clinicians with actionable insights to forecast patient trends and optimize hospital resource management more effectively.
The second focuses on driving a Smart Campus by strengthening Research Lab and Modelling capabilities through robust Data and AI infrastructure to enhance research accuracy, while promoting AI for Productivity to empower faculty members, staff, and students with greater digital capabilities. We believe this collaboration will serve as a model for how Data and AI can be applied to transform healthcare and education, creating lasting benefits and driving sustainable innovation for Thailand.”
