PALIT Microsystems Ltd., in partnership with distributor Achiwa Technology (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has officially launched its regional marketing push in Thailand with the premiere of digital brand ambassador RiTONA and the PALIT GeForce RTX™ 5060 Ti 8GB RITONA OC graphics card. Alongside the specialized anime-themed hardware, the graphics card manufacturer announced strategic expansion into Mini PCs, AI PCs, and enterprise software solutions to drive growth across the Asian hardware market.

Targeting Enthusiasts with Regional “RiTONA” Debut

Bernice Lin, Vice President of Sales at PALIT Microsystems Ltd., stated that Thailand represents a high-potential market due to consumer readiness to adopt emerging technologies and trade up to higher-tier specifications. The trend aligns directly with the expansion of local digital content creators, competitive gamers, and professional workstation users seeking performance hardware.

To strengthen brand resonance among younger demographics, PALIT chose Thailand as its first launch destination in the region for RiTONA, an anime-style character previously established in Japan, Australia, and parts of Europe for over five years. The local campaign features popular content creator Zbing z. as presenter, paired with a recurring promotional initiative designating the 18th of every month as RiTONA Day across digital sales platforms.

The new PALIT GeForce RTX™ 5060 Ti 8GB RITONA OC features a white shroud, dual 10.2 cm cooling fans, customizable ARGB lighting, and a metal backplate displaying the RiTONA character artwork. Engineered for compact setups, the card measures 23.4 cm in length for Small Form Factor (SFF) chassis compatibility and incorporates 0-dB technology, which automatically stops the fans during low-load operation.

Diversification into Mini PC and AI Hardware

Building on its 38-year legacy in graphics hardware manufacturing, PALIT confirmed plans to enter the Mini PC and AI PC segments. According to Lin, regional demand for Mini PCs across Asia continues to increase at an estimated 20% to 30% annually, accelerated by global business interest in localized artificial intelligence processing.

Detailed specifications and product line details are scheduled for disclosure in November, with the first commercial hardware batches arriving in late December. PALIT will subsequently expand the portfolio in early 2027 by introducing the RTX Spark model to address specialized computing workloads.

Retail Trade-In Initiative to Accelerate Market Share

To alleviate pricing pressures across the GPU sector, PALIT and Achiwa introduced a nationwide trade-in campaign offering evaluation rebates alongside additional on-top discounts ranging from 500 to 5,000 THB. The program applies to purchases across the GeForce RTX 50 series up to the RTX 5090, supported by an allocated inventory reserve of over 1,000 graphics cards during the fourth quarter through retail partners Advice and iHAVECPU.

Nattawat Prempothiwat, CEO of Achiwa Digital (Thailand) Co., Ltd., noted that offline retail and DIY assembly shops still generate roughly 50% of domestic desktop purchases, while online channels account for 30% to 40%. Distribution is handled through major IT chains nationwide, including Advice, Com7 (BaNANA), JIB, iHAVECPU, and IT City.

Achiwa has committed an eight-figure Thai Baht marketing budget throughout 2027 to support physical tech expos, creator endorsements, and channel promotions. By leveraging PALIT’s position as a First-Tier partner of NVIDIA, the companies aim to capture top-tier domestic market share amid fluctuating market supply conditions.
