DJI has officially launched the Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White edition in Thailand, introducing a new finish to its dual-lens compact gimbal camera line. The device combines an optical system spanning 20mm to 60mm equivalent focal lengths with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, 17 stops of dynamic range, and 10-bit D-Log 2 color recording in a compact 230-gram form factor.

Dual-Lens Imaging and Cinema Color Science

The primary imaging unit features an all-new 1-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 20mm wide-angle lens at an f/2.0 aperture. Equipped with Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) technology, the sensor delivers up to 17 stops of dynamic range, preserving highlight and shadow fidelity in high-contrast environments such as backlit scenes and sunsets. The camera records video at up to 4K resolution at 240 frames per second and incorporates an updated 10-bit D-Log 2 profile capable of capturing over one billion colors to maximize color grading latitude in post-production.

Accompanying the wide-angle camera is a 60mm medium-telephoto lens featuring an f/1.8 aperture (delivering an f/6.3-equivalent depth of field) with 3x optical zoom and up to 12x digital zoom. This optical layout enables natural subject isolation and shallow depth of field for portrait compositions. Mechanical three-axis gimbal stabilization operates across both focal lengths, ensuring stable handheld operation without requiring external rigs.

Capture Modes and Mobile Workflow Integration

In addition to standard video modes, the Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White offers up to 8x slow-motion capture at 4K/240 fps and records still images at resolutions up to 37 megapixels. A 4K Live Photo feature records a 1.5-second video buffer alongside each still frame to document ambient motion. For automated framing, DJI has integrated ActiveTrack 8.0, allowing the camera to detect and follow subjects—including people, pets, and vehicles—through complex movements.

Workflow features include high-speed USB 3.1 connectivity capable of transfer speeds up to 800 MB/s, alongside an automated background offload function that transfers captured assets to paired iOS devices once the camera powers down. The camera delivers up to 210 minutes of continuous runtime on a single charge, supported by fast-charging circuitry that recharges the battery from zero to 80 percent in 18 minutes.

Ecosystem Support, Pricing, and Thai Availability

The Pearl White edition maintains full compatibility with DJI’s modular Osmo accessory ecosystem. Users can expand the camera with dedicated add-ons sold separately, including magnetic neutral density (ND) and polarizing filters, wide-angle conversion lenses, supplementary battery handles, fill lights, and OsmoAudio wireless microphone systems.

The camera is available immediately at 16 DJI Experience Stores across Thailand—including One Bangkok, Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, Emsphere, and IconSiam—as well as authorized retail channels. The Osmo Pocket 4P Pearl White Standard Combo retails for 19,990 baht, while the Vlog Combo is priced at 22,390 baht. DJI Care Refresh comprehensive coverage is also offered in one-year and two-year service plans covering accidental and water damage.
