True Corporation secured top honors at the CP Innovation Exposition 2026, with four in-house technological projects capturing the Chairman Award. Held under the banner “RISE TOGETHER, INNOVATE BEYOND,” the global convention drew 319 submissions from Charoen Pokphand Group business units worldwide, selecting 90 for showcase and presenting its highest distinction to True’s enterprise-grade solutions.
The recognized initiatives span physical artificial intelligence, healthcare robotics, telecommunication energy efficiency, and predictive risk governance. Rooted in the company’s internal ethos that “Everyone Can Be an Innovator,” the deployments tackle operational bottlenecks while converting specialized technical models into tangible public and commercial applications.
Smart Camera Transforms Video Analytics into Physical AI
Addressing the shift from basic video surveillance to active operational intervention, True’s innovation team engineered Smart Camera, an automated physical AI architecture. The platform moves beyond visual recording by interpreting video streams in real time and automatically initiating downstream enterprise workflows without manual oversight.
Savitree Hongvihock, an innovator on the Smart Camera project, outlined the operational rationale behind the build.
“The challenge we encountered was that customers wanted to know how they could use basic data they already had, such as the number of people entering an area, to manage their operations or develop further applications,” Hongvihock said. “Our team therefore asked what kind of solution could enable cameras to see, understand the events in front of them, and take action to benefit customers’ businesses.”
The system integrates real-time video analytics with procedural dispatch. In commercial retail deployments, the AI detects queue thresholds exceeding five shoppers, alerts branch staff to open additional checkout lanes, escalates to regional managers if unresolved after five minutes, and logs case closure once cleared. The system maintains an AI Library covering over 300 operational use cases, ranging from conflict mitigation in property management parking enforcement to pet location tracking during urban flooding events.

CORGI Robot Deploys Zero-Contact Care for Infectious Wards
To safeguard healthcare staff during postoperative physical therapy for high-risk tuberculosis patients, True Innovation Center partnered with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, and the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University to create CORGI. The physical therapy robotic platform integrates robotics, edge computing, AI vision, and telemedicine into an industrial design shaped like an approachable canine.
The robot builds on the foundation of HAPPY, a specialized medical robot for radioactive iodine thyroid cancer care that won the Chairman Award in 2025. Suriya Konkham, Project Manager, highlighted the shift toward a zero-exposure clinical environment.
“This time, our goal was to reduce contact between medical personnel and patients to zero,” Konkham stated. “We therefore began by conducting Design Thinking with all relevant personnel, which ultimately resulted in three key features: Telerehabilitation for remote therapy, Zero-Contact Delivery for transporting food and medicine, and Automated Personalized EHR, which automatically records individual electronic health records.”
Narongrit Phoonsapjarern, Project Leader, noted that the unit uses an AI system titled “Autonomous Viewpoint Optimization” to adjust camera angles autonomously during rehabilitation monitoring. The intellectual property filing for CORGI lays groundwork for a future centralized Medical AI Platform intended to pool Thai clinical knowledge.
EnergySense Automates Base Station Hardware Power Control
With escalating data consumption requiring larger volumes of electrical grid power across telecommunications infrastructure, True’s Network innovation team built EnergySense to automate energy management across nationwide radio access nodes without compromising customer experience.
EnergySense serves as an architectural evolution from GENIE (Green Energy Network IntelligencE), which secured the Chairman Award in 2025 alongside an Autonomous Network Level 4 certification from TM Forum. Project Leader Weratuch Witoonchart explained that the platform bridges multi-vendor communication disparities by integrating internet-of-things (IoT) controls with predictive machine learning algorithms directly at the hardware layer.
“The challenge is to strike a balance between network performance, service quality, and the most efficient use of energy, because our goal is not simply to reduce energy consumption and costs,” Witoonchart emphasized.
The deployment configures equipment-level power cycling dynamically according to regional traffic fluctuations, with ongoing engineering exploring quantum computing frameworks to parse multidimensional network variables.
Wong-WAI Deploys Machine Learning for Reputation Risk Governance
To address digital brand vulnerabilities and the rapid dissemination of negative engagement across social listening channels, True created Wong-WAI, Thailand’s first corporate reputation risk platform combining predictive machine learning with automated response drafting.
Developed in collaboration with King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and data science firm BOTNOI Group, the system evolved from early rule-based social listening tools initiated in 2019 into an AI-driven crisis triage pipeline supported by True Lab.
“Wong-WAI’s key strength is its use of AI and Machine Learning to analyze Social Listening data together with a Rule-based system to assess risks based on engagement trends and the growth of issues online,” said Thitirat Sirivorachodphokin, Project Leader alongside Chirun Withanwattana. “The system sends alerts to relevant departments so they can monitor situations and prepare timely responses. It also includes features that suggest initial communication approaches, such as drafting PR Statements according to the type of incident.”
International research publications and intellectual property applications have been logged for the technology, with future roadmap development aimed at detecting disinformation and harmful digital material targeting youth.
