SCG has officially launched its new corporate film, SCG Future Express, underscoring its strategic vision to position itself as an ASEAN Strategic Partner and accelerate the regional shift toward a low-carbon society.
The cinematic project uses the metaphorical journey of the train, guided by a “Little Captain” symbolizing corporate leadership, to illustrate the company’s commitment to connecting people, businesses, and global opportunities. Guided by the framework of Inclusive Green Growth, the narrative highlights collaborative efforts to drive regional transformation and long-term economic development.
Key Highlights of SCG Future Express and Green Innovations
The film portrays a low-carbon city powered by clean energy solutions, smart lifestyle integration, and eco-friendly buildings and living systems. It also features sustainable packaging in daily life alongside major industrial milestones such as the Long Son Petrochemicals (LSP) complex in Vietnam. As Vietnam’s first world-class integrated petrochemical complex, LSP utilizes advanced technology to produce high-quality polymers, strengthening the manufacturing base across ASEAN.
In addition, the production showcases significant international partnerships aimed at advancing sustainable technologies. These include working alongside RONDO Energy from the United States to develop ASEAN’s first clean-energy heat battery solution, partnering with Japanese firms on living innovations, and collaborating with global research institutes to build disaster resilience across the region.
The film concludes with an invitation to all sectors to participate in regional green transition efforts, posing the question: “Welcome to all who believe a better future is possible. Are you ready?”
